Ki combines this sculptural practice with filmmaking, experimenting with the theme of technological obsolescence and the paradox of permanence—how digital memory deteriorates while physical waste accumulates eternally.
Ki’s first short film as co-director, Wunderkammer 10.0 (2021), received the Special Jury Prize at Jeonju International Film Festival (2022).
Her work has been presented internationally at MMCA Seoul, e-flux Film & Video Festival, Instrument Inventors Initiative (iii), Kurzfilmfestival Köln (KFFK), EXiS (Seoul Experimental Film and Video Festival), Asia Culture Center (ACC) Cinematheque, and more.
